Jacob Lomranz was born in Germany and raised in China. Since1950, he lives and works in Israel and the United states. In 1965 he received his B.A. in psychology and philosophy from the Tel-Aviv University and did his graduate work in psychology at Duke University, North Carolina, U.S.A., where he earned his Ph.D. in 1971. - He is a certified clinical psychologist and supervisor and did his clinical work in McLean Hospital in Boston.
- He joined the faculty of the department of psychology at Tel-Aviv University where he presently serves as Professor of Psychology.
- He serves on major university committees. Prof. Lomanz was the founder and director of the Neuropsychological Unit for Rehabilitation of severely head injured and the Director of the Clinical Psychology Program in the department of psychology.
- He developed curriculum for the study of adulthood and aging, at the undergraduate and graduate levels in the university, established the Unit of Adulthood and Aging in the department of psychology and later was the founder and director of the Interdisciplinary Hercezg Research Institute of Aging in Tel-Aviv University, the first University based academic institute of its kind in Israel.
Prof. Lomranz was also the founder and director of a psychological service for the aged and their families in nursing homes of Mishan in Tel Aviv. His areas of research interest and publications include: Research in Group Dynamics (also conducted Jewish – Arab conflict resolution groups). Effects of Trauma and Wars, specifically the long-term effects of he Holocaust; Studies in the areas of Clinical Psychology and Psychopathology; Narrative Studies and Life Reviews; Adult Development, depression; Personality Theory, especially Personality and Adulthood; Mental Health in the Aged; The area of Creativity in the life span including issue of creativity in later age and the focus on creativity in everyday life; Based on cognitive postformal approaches, modernity and postmodern principles, he has developed a cogent personality interdisciplinary theory termed “Aintegration”, which is presently internationally researched. Prof. Lomranz has developed methods of psychological treatment for the elderly. - He served as chairman of the committee for the establishment of a graduate department of gerontology at Tel-Aviv University and developed a graduate program in Gerontology at Tel Aviv University. Prof. Lomranz serves as consultant to various organizations in Israel, Europe and America.
- He is the head of the Frenkel Research Fund for Research on Holocaust Survivors at the Tel-Aviv University.
- He is the recipient of many research grants, the author of three books and about one hundred scientific publications.
- He has numerous appearances in the public media: the press, the radio and television. He served as visiting Professor in; Boston University; the University of California in San Francisco; and The Brookdale Research Institute at the City University of New York.
- He also lectures and teaches at the Institute of Gerontology in Saint Joseph College. Prof. Lomranz served and serves as an officer and board member of many organizations including the council of the Israeli Psychological Association and Amcha– National Israeli Center for Psychological Support of Survivors of the Holocaust and the Second Generation.
- His record includes leading positions in the Israeli and European societies of Gerontology.
- He served as the President of the Israeli Gerontological Society and its representative in the European region of the International Association of Gerontology.
- He is program Director of Creative Aging in Eshel: The Association for the Planning and Development Services for the Aged in Israel, in the framework of which he attempts to promote a National Center for Creative Aging in Israel.

Ms. Lowe is currently the Special Assistant to the Director of the Policy, Evaluation and Training Division of the United Nations Department of Peacekeeping Operations (DPKO). She joined the United Nations in 1985 as a Public Information Officer and has served in United Nations Headquarters in New York and Vienna.
In addition, Ms. Lowe has worked in various field missions for the United Nations: in the former Yugoslavia (1998) as Political Advier to the Head of Mission, in Liberia (1995-1996) as a writer/editor in the Office of the Special Representative of the Secretary-General, and in South Africa (1994) as an electoral monitor and media liaison officer. She joined DPKO at Headquarters in 1996 and helped establish the Department's first self-evaluation capacity: the Lessons Learned Unit. She has also worked in peacekeeping training and policy analysis for peacekeeping.
Before joining the United Nations, Ms. Lowe was a journalist and writer. She holds an M.A. from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, Tufts University. Ms. Lowe is a national of Jamaica.

Mirjana Radovic Markovic holds B. Sc (Hons.), M. Sc. and PhD Degrees in Economics, as well as Post Doctoral Studies in Multidisciplinary Studies (Economics, Psychology, Demographic & Ecology). Her research interests include the formation of entrepreneurial firms, managing growth, e-learnimg and women entrepreneurship.
She is a full professor of Business Management and Entrepreneurship and has prepared and taught classes world wide such as "Women as Entrepreneurs", "Global Challenge", "Human Resource Management", "E-business", "Principles of Management", "Entrepreneurship" and "Organizational Behaviour". Professor Radovic Markovic has been recognized for her work in program development in entrepreneurship for women in a nomination for the Enterprising Woman / Global Summit of Women Award, 2006 by the President of Akamai University, Dr. Douglass Capogrossi .
She has written fourteen books and more than one hundred peer-reviewed journal articles. Her new book is WOMEN IN BUSINESS: Theory, Practice and Flexible Approaches, published by Adonis & Abbey Publishers Ltd, 2009., London, UK.
Dr. Radovic Markovic is editor of the Journal of Business Economics and Management, Lithuania and the African Micro Journal of Entrepreneurship Research (AMJER), UK. Also, she is chair of the editorial board of the Journal of Women’s Entrepreneurship and Education (JWE) and the editor-in-chief of the Journal of Economic Analysis, Serbia.

Christopher Stones matriculated with A levels (Associated Examinations Board) in 1970 and proceeded to Rhodes University where he enrolled for a BSc degree majoring in Psychology and Zoology, thereafter completing Honours and Master's degrees in Psychology for which he obtained distinctions. After obtaining his PhD in 1979, Professor Stones proceeded to the University of Cape Town to train, during 1981 and 1982, as a clinical psychologist. After completing his clinical internship he returned to Rhodes University to take up, again, a teaching post within the Department of Psychology. Professor Stones has taught in the areas of clinical, personality, social and research psychology and has published widely in these fields.
For more than 25 years, he has maintained an active private practice dealing mainly with adolescents and young adults as well as with families. For the past decade, he has been engaged with civil and criminal medico-legal psychological and forensic assessments for both plaintiff and defence.
Since the mid-1980s, Professor Stones has been a guest lecturer at several overseas universities including in the USA and the United Kingdom. He is also registered with the British Psychological Society as a Chartered Psychologist.
In 1987, he was awarded a 12-month post-doctoral St Aidan's College Fellowship (Durham University, in the United Kingdom). This was later augmented by a Fellowship offered by the Durham University Research Foundation and Society of Fellows. Upon completion of the Fellowship tenure, he accepted a bipartite position attached to Leeds University and the National Health Service as Principal Clinical Psychologist heading the regional
